Our Story
As (not very) long time ago, in the city of San Francisco, there was a bible study filled with women who desired community, fellowship, and encouragement. Each woman was unique – different hometowns, different interests, and different gifts – but what they all had in common was a desire to love and serve Jesus with their lives and careers. The issue: How could they do that well in their secular careers?
Each week, they recounted their struggles and victories, fears and joys, and hopes and dreams. Gathered around Trader Joe’s popcorn and a little bit of wine, they found a place of encouragement where they could be “who God created them to be” – in their faith, work and life.
Through community, they came to see that who they were on Sundays and who they were on Mondays could actually be one and the same – and that by embracing this call to love God in the world, they were saying yes to a wild adventure.
While we wish we could be all together again and welcome you in with a glass of wine and some Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies, that’s not the case – so we’ve got the next best thing. The SundayMonday is your place to fuel up so you can walk into your office with joy, faith and confidence that you were created “for a time such as this.”
Here, you’ll find real stories from real women who are striving for excellence in their faith, work, and life. You’ll hear about transitions and successes, moments of grace and glory, and tales of hope and heartbreak. We’re so excited to have you here.
Because, here’s the truth:
The world needs you. We need you.
So get out there and set the world on fire.
In Christ, Jane
